Account Manager

Asperity recruits a new account manager every three to four months in line with business growth. If the description below sounds like you, please contact us.

You will work closely with clients, developing relationships that position Asperity as a strategic partner.

You will be responsible for developing engaging employee communications plans that drive scheme uptake and employee spend. You will also implement and manage new accounts, provide support to sales and the senior management team, interpret management information and act as a conduit for ensuring our clients are completely satisfied.

You’ll need to be reliable, flexible and undertake different projects from time to time. This role requires attention to detail, initiative, enthusiasm and focus. You will frequently need to attend client sites, and do client roadshows. You’ll have to get to grips with our communications packages and how we implement new websites, and pro-actively contact your clients to make sure we are doing all we can for them.

The job

We are continually enhancing the services we provide to clients with committed, professional and experienced account managers who take responsibility and learn fast. Industry experience is not essential but a background in customer service and relationship management will be a real plus.

We need someone who wants an influential role in a fast growing, hard working, and commercially focused business. You will like the idea of working within an owner-managed, dynamic and creative environment. This role is central to Asperity’s success because you will be responsible for the delivery of client service for several of our most important and high profile clients.

You will be able to interpret communications and client service requirements, meet plans and goals and ensure we deliver our promises on time, on budget and to a standard of service and output that exceeds clients’ expectations. You will have a razor sharp attention to detail, be extremely organised and be assertive where necessary to ensure Asperity delivers on its promises.

There will be some background work but the majority of the role is client-facing. It is definitely a service and account management position and not a direct sales role but up selling is a factor in deepening relationships. There will be a frequent need to meet clients and a particular emphasis on enabling them to communicate our benefits to their workforce.

The work encompasses all areas of the Asperity’s business including working closely with the supplier relations, employee services, design and technical teams to ensure the successful execution of communications packages and technical upgrades. You will report to the Director of Client Services.

  • exceptional organisational capabilities
