Corporate Business Development Manager - London

We are looking for bright, target focused individual who can support and help drive the business, whilst working as part of the busy sales team.

The Job

You will need to be sales hungry, target focused & driven to be part of a successful team. Talking to busy, senior HR employees from a variety of sectors will require you to be ultra professional on the phone. We’re in a small industry with big market potential, and so it is crucial to build good strong relationships with each potential client. A delicate balance must be struck between the volume of outbound calls and providing the care and attention that each client demands.

You must have the excitement and passion to deliver a top end product.

This is an important role in a fast growing, hard working, commercially focused business.  You will need to be ambitious, want to drive your career fast and like the idea of working in an owner-managed, dynamic and creative environment.

You will need to make a lot of phone calls, be persistent in finding the right contact and take great care to understand client requirements in order to book as many meetings as possible. You’ll need the confidence to talk to people to gain an initial interest from potential clients and follow-up on everyday queries, pro-actively talk to contacts and travel to client sites.  There will be some other things too, that’s the nature of a dynamic business, and you’ll need to be ready for those.

There will be some basic admin tasks to be completed; data entry, various documents to be prepared and checked, proposal writing etc. These tasks are really important.  We will train you to do most of these things in Asperity style – you need the attitude and the aptitude.  Some things you’ll have to pick up on your own, ask around or use your initiative for.
