Asperity acquires bringme from Lloyds TSB
Lloyds TSB Registrars has sold its BringMe voluntary benefits business to Asperity Employee Benefits.
The deal, announced yesterday, will see Asperity take over immediate responsibility for the staff discount schemes of some 41 corporate employers, including a number of FTSE100 names. Asperity will migrate BringMe clients across to their Reward Gateway platform over the coming weeks and is already liaising with clients on transition arrangements. Over 200,000 employees were served by Bringme and these will now roll into Reward Gateway, increasing the reach of Asperity’s scheme to over 650,000 UK based staff.

Overnight, employees will get access to Cashback savings and more than 15 times the number of retail offers than they are used to. In addition, employers will gain access to the most advanced, real time management information system available in the market, demonstrating the high usage and employer value that Reward Gateway creates. The benefits will also roll onto our existing corporate clients – as we now represent over half a million employees our negotiating and buying power is increased to help secure the very best deals available in the marketplace.”

Since launch, Asperity’s Reward Gateway product has taken the market by storm and Asperity provides its scheme to employees at leading companies including the BBC, Next Retail Ltd and British Airways plc. Reward Gateway now services over 650,000 UK employees with discounts and savings of up to 30% at over 1300 retailers. Offers are available online, on the phone and in the high street through discounted retail vouchers at rates of up to 10% off.
