Asperity wins Innovation Through Technology award
Asperity Employee Benefits has won the South East region’s Award for Innovation Through Technology in the Chamber Awards run by the British Chambers of Commerce.
The award, sponsored by Dell, is designed to recognise the business making the best use of Technology to achieve significant long term change to their company and market.
Judges praised the firm for successfully embracing technology and marketing practices to capitalise on the employee benefits market. They said: “From a standing start to market leader in three years speaks volumes, and it could only have been achieved by harnessing customer service to this leading-edge technology solution.”
Asperity Employee Benefits, which delivers the UK’s largest and most generous employment scheme, is achieving dramatic growth with a turnover that has increased from £150,000 to £2.2m in just two years.
John Dunsmure, Managing Director of the British Chambers of Commerce, said: “Despite the difficult economic climate, businesses across the country are continuing to succeed, overcoming obstacles by adopting innovative ideas and motivating their people. The national winners will be announced at a ceremony at the National Maritime Museum in London on November 26.
