Cancer Research UK scoops voluntary benefits award
Cancer Research UK scooped the prize for 'Most Effective Use of a Voluntary Benefits Plan' at the 2011 Employee Benefits Awards, which took place at the HAC in London last week.
Celebrating the best in benefits, the annual awards ceremony was this year hosted by Stephen Mangan on behalf of Employee Benefits magazine.
Over 170 entries were submitted this year from across the UK, from which expert judges selected 21 winners across various categories representing different elements of the employee benefits industry.
George Farrow, Client Service Delivery Director at Asperity Employee Benefits, which provides Cancer Research's voluntary benefits programme, said: "Everyone at Asperity is delighted that Cancer Research has achieved this award at its first attempt. Asperity clients McDonald's, BskyB and DB Schenker were all runners up for the same award.
