National Savings & Investment appoints Asperity to run Staff Retail Discounts Service
Asperity Employee Benefits Ltd has been appointed by NS&I (National Savings & Investments) as its supplier of Staff Retail Discounts. Following a tender process running over the summer, Asperity’s appointment was confirmed on 25 October 2007.
NS&I is an Executive Agency of the Chancellor of the Exchequer and is one of the UK’s largest savings and investments providers, with 27 million customers and £80 billion invested. Through its London office, 125 staff are responsible for the management and marketing of products and the strategic relationship with suppliers and partners.
Asperity’s Reward Gateway product has gained significant favour in the public sector this year and NS&I joins a number of local and central government users including Kent County Council and West Lothian County Council.
The tender for NS&I required a specific customisation of the Reward Gateway employee discounts scheme to meet the needs of a smaller organisation.
Asperity’s MD, Glenn Elliott, said “We recognise the need to make employee discounts accessible to smaller employers and this was reflected in our tender submission. We are very much looking forward to working with NS&I to maximise employer value from this new benefit.”
