BSkyB's new reward scheme achieves sky-high engagement
British satellite broadcasting company, BSkyB, has reached new heights with their new employee benefits scheme take-up.
BSkyB’s new online retail discount scheme, provided by Asperity Employee Benefits, has been accessed by 49% of employees who have spent more than £1 million on the platform since it was launched six months ago.
All 17,500 employees at BSkyB have access to the new scheme, called ‘Sky Benefits Extra’. Based on Asperity’s benefits web platform, Reward Gateway, employees who use the scheme can enjoy discounted retail vouchers, Cashback on online purchases and re-loadable cards, the value of which can be topped up online at a discounted price.
Discounts can be obtained on goods at more than 1,700 retailers, including Marks and Spencer, Comet and B&Q.
Dev Raval, Director of Reward at BSkyB, said: “All the key reward and recognition information can be accessed both at home and at work. We have got around 3,000 people in the field. What we have now got is a common platform so employees’ experience at work and at home is no different. They can access its via any browser and that has really helped the take-up of the scheme.”
Asperity’s Service Delivery Director, George Farrow, added: “It’s a real pleasure to work with such a leading, forward-thinking brand such as Sky. Asperity has a great deal of experience in creating a benefits scheme that works for both on-site and remote workers, and moreover providing employee communications which reach out to both groups. We’re thrilled that half of Sky’s employees are engaged with their new benefits scheme already.”
